ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
Due to the increasing number of core facilities (to name Imaging, Proteomics,Metabolomics, Genomics…) there is a high demand for efficient quality management and especially booking solutions. Major topics of the workshop will include: case reports from the field (core facility managers), presentations of commercially available solutions (industry) as well as hands‐on experience to understand the main concepts of the available solutions. Additional round-up discussions should elucidate the actual requirements.
It is primarily designed to meet the requirements of core facility managers, looking for the optimal solution, as well as team or IT members, who will have to setup such a management software in their home institutions. We also encourage major opinion leaders in the field to use this workshop as an opportunity to discuss and define the future needs in the field.
The registration fee of 50 € covers finger food and refreshments during the workshop.
