Job Description: The candidates will be pivotal in establishing cell and animal models for biomedical imaging of functional, physiological and molecular biomarkers. Of particular importance is the utilization of next-generation optical and optoacoustic multi-scale imaging technology developed at IBMI, offering opportunity for novel observation and discovery. Application fields include, but are not limited to any of immunology & inflammation, metabolism, neurodegenerative disease and cancer. IBMI’s optical and optoacoustic imaging methods open novel opportunities for visualizing biological markers significantly beyond the classical imaging depth limits allowed by state-of-the-art optical microscopy today.
