Job Description: The candidate will be pivotal in developing a next-generation intra-operative optoacoustic imaging system and method for novel biological measurements in pre-clinical and clinical environments. Optoacoustic imaging brings the ability for unique visualization ability of tissue oxygenation, hypoxia and angiogenesis. For this reason it is an emerging and a highly promising field in several applications spanning non-invasive tissue measurements for guiding surgery and intervention. We expect this position to play a key role in leading novel clinical ability and impacting human healthcare.
