Tenure Track Faculty Position (Cell Biologist)

The Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology, McGill University (www.mcgill.ca/anatomy) invites applications for one Associate or Full Professor tenure-track/tenured faculty position.

The applicant’s research program should involve the application of cryo-electron microscopy to address novel questions in the fields of cell biology, molecular biology, structural biology, and other related fields.
We seek candidates with notable research achievements that have the ability to develop a well-funded, independent research program and show a commitment to excellence in research and education. Candidates should have a Ph.D., postdoctoral or other research related experience and demonstrate ability to develop a vibrant research program. Applicants with experience in correlative light and electron microscopy, novel methods development, digital image processing and analysis, cryo-EM, and 3D EM methods are encouraged to apply. It is expected the senior scientist will take on the role of Core Director for the Facility for Electron Microscopy Research (FEMR).
