Your responsibilities

The Bioimaging Facility of IST Austria provides ‚state of the art‘ Microscopy Application and Flow Cytometry services, as well as assistance in image analysis and custom optical development solutions. In order to offer additional services in the future, we are looking for a full time Cyto-metry & Microscopy Technician.

• Basic operation-support of cytometry and/or microscopy equipment
• Routine quality monitoring and system performance checks
• Support in general core facility and infrastructure tasks (e.g. routine facility checks; organization of calibration standards and optical maintenance tools)
• Contribute to the organization of events: equipment demonstrations, technical workshops and annual microscopy courses•Support with organizational tasks
• Assist in trainings and events (teaching, technical workshops and outreach)
