Image Analysis Specialist
CPR and DanStem are vibrant, internationally diverse, ambitious research centers, housing modern laboratories with state-of-the-art facilities located in close proximity to one another at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. Advanced light microscopy is a key technology at both centers and their in-house imaging platforms provide service and support for a large number of scientists.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic Image Analysis Specialist for our joined team at the earliest opportunity.
You will be the first line contact for all platform users on all image analysis-related questions. Your everyday work includes both routine tasks and advanced support tasks:
Routine service and support:
- Discuss user projects in collaboration with the microscopy specialist to optimize the data acquisition for subsequent analysis
- Offer regular introductions to broadly used analysis programs (Image J, CellProfiler, Imaris, Olympus-ScanR Analysis, Perkin Elmer-Harmony, Huygens) for beginners and advanced users
- Manage computer workstations for offline image analysis and take care of software purchases, installation, maintenance and updates (local IT-support is provided)
