ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
The Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Science, the University of Copenhagen, is looking for an academic employee, a bioimage analyst, with effect from October 1, 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter.
We are looking for a bioimage analyst to join the new Image Analysis Core Facility of the Danish BioImaging Infrastructure at the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Department of Computer Science both at the University of Copenhagen.
The Core Facility team (presently a team of 3) will work in close collaboration with nationwide bioimaging facilities and image processing research groups (DIKU, DTU, QIM) to support life scientists and operate custom remote computing solutions to analyze a broad range of bioimaging data.
The successful applicant should have a strong problem-solving mindset, a drive to learn and collaborate, and experience in supporting life scientists in bioimage analysis (ideally within a bioimaging facility).
