Job description:
The investigation of radiation-induced brain injury is one focus of our group “Translational Radiation Oncology” led by Prof. Mechthild Krause. The use of the experimental beam line at University Proton Therapy Dresden and an interdisciplinary research team are excellent prerequisites for this clinically relevant research. We are working at the interface of medicine, biology and physics using innovative bioinformatics and image analyses methods. For this purpose, we rely on an established network of vivid collaborations on our campus, e.g. with specialists for image analyses methods, modeling and machine learning approaches.
