ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
A workshop on Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM) will be held from 26. – 29. February 2024 at the Biomedical Center (BMC) of the Ludwig-Maximilans-Universität München.
Organized by the GermanBioimaging FLIM group and the Core Facility Bioimaging of the BMC this workshop is targeted at researchers from the life sciences who apply or plan to apply FLIM in their studies.
The workshop will start with lectures by renowned national and international scientists on various aspects of FLIM application, such as FLIM-FRET, metabolic FLIM, tension sensors, color separation, particle characterization, and advanced FLIM methods. This will be followed by parallel hands-on sessions in small groups. We are grateful that nearly all companies that offer microscopy FLIM equipment agreed to provide hardware for the workshop to conduct the hands-on sessions. This will be complemented by equipment available in local research groups.
Early-bird registration ends on 17. December 2023 (Sunday). All applications received until then will be treated equally. Registration after that date will be possible if space remains. The venue is in Martinsried, a few hundred meters outside of Munich, Germany. The conference fee is €350.
