Light Microscopy Application Specialist, University of Copenhagen, Denmark
Applications are invited for a position as Light Microscopy Application Specialist at the Core Facility for Integrated Microscopy (CFIM) (indefinite employment period), at the Faculty of Health Sciences with a starting date 1 April 2018.
About:
CFIM was inaugurated in 2010 and services approximately 700 users from The Faculty of Health Sciences, other faculties and universities and commercial companies with access to state of the art light- and electron microscopes within life science research. CFIM is run by a dynamic, highly international working group with members from Denmark, Italy, Iran, Germany, USA and Spain.
Job description:
On a daily basis the successful applicant will be in charge of maintaining the light microscopes and the GMO1 certified wet cell prep lab at CFIM. The position will also involve the development and implementation of new microscopy applications, training and supervising CFIM users, as well as teaching and instructing at CFIM courses in light microscopy.
