ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
Dear All
Round 2 of applications to the 2018 ESRIC | RMS Summer School closes on Wednesday 31 January www.rms.org.uk/esric-summer-course
The popular ESRIC Super-Resolution Summer School is a five-day residential course taking place at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh from 15-20 July 2018.
This unique course brings together leading academics and the major suppliers of super-resolution microscopes to provide expertise and guidance in the theory and practise of structured illumination microscopy (SIM), stimulated emission depletion microscopy (STED), AiryScan Microscopy and single molecule localization microscopies (PALM, sptPALM and dSTORM).
The course is suitable for anyone with prior experience of fluorescence microscopy looking to exploit the benefits of super-resolution microscopy in their research. The programme is delivered through informal lectures and workshops, allowing you ample time to seek advice, get hands on experience using your own samples and network with like-minded scientists in your field.
To apply to attend this course, you need to send us a letter of motivation, outlining your current use of microscopy, how you hope to use super-resolution in the future in your research and what you hope to gain from the course.
Find out more about the Summer School and submit your application at www.rms.org.uk/esric-summer-course
