ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
Europe’s Largest Event Dedicated to Microscopy and Imaging
The European Microscopy Congress 2024 (www.emc2024.eu) will bring the world of scientific imaging together in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities – Copenhagen, Denmark.
The conference programme will be a balanced mix of light and electron microscopy in both physical and life sciences and scientists, manufacturers, and suppliers will come together to share new techniques, applications, and technologies.
Featuring 6 parallel sessions, topics for the Congress will − among others − be in the fields of label-free and correlative imaging; volume electron microscopy; cryoEM; nanoparticles and catalysts; magnetic, ferroelectric, and spintronic materials; super-resolution microscopy; phase microscopy, and new instrumentation, where we see an increasing amount of new and exciting research and results.
We expect more than 2,000 delegates for the Congress and more than 100 manufacturers & suppliers to exhibit at the concurrent trade show. The congress offers open science methodology, source, data & educational resources on display at a number of dedicated booths, various training opportunities, product demonstrations, commercial workshops, and a poster village where you can discover the latest research.
Looking forward to seeing you in Copenhagen in August 2024.
