Dear all,
A successful story moves on. The 13th Microscopy Winter School 2019 – Practical Course in Advanced Microscopy will take place in Zurich, Switzerland, from Sunday, 20 January to Friday, 25 January 2019.
This advanced microscopy course is intended for PhD students and post-graduates with prior experience in microscopy. The goal of the course is to teach and train fundamental knowledge and skills for a specific microscopic technique. Students will be able to apply this technique to their own present and future projects. Practical work consists of six different modules covering a specific topic for each. Each practical module lasts throughout the whole course. Students will participate in one module only and will use state-of-the-art instrumentation. Theoretical joined sessions will in turn cover basic knowledge about all the different techniques for all students.
The application deadline is on Friday, 16 November 2018. The notification of acceptance will be given by Monday, 3 December 2018.
The Winter School is valued with 2-3 ECTS credits (depending on the institution).
