ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.

The conference brings together leading high-end microscope techniques developers and users from Germany with their world-wide colleagues.

The focus will be put on imaging techniques in higher dimensions – space, phase, and time:

Registration is open and obligatory (100 € for scientists; 30 € for students).

A small company exhibition will be on site.

TIM 2016 is organized by the Biopolis Dresden Imaging Platform (BioDIP) and German BioImaging, and is supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
