ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
The 3 Research positions are available for a period of 3 years and are funded by the Wellcome Trust, in super-resolution fluorescence microscopy of human immune cells.
The project will be based in Prof. Dan Davis’s laboratory in The University of Manchester, and involves using super-resolution fluorescence microscope technologies (PALM, STORM, STED and others) to study fundamental aspects of molecular recognition by human Natural Killer cells and macrophages.
