ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.

Phd position dynamics and organization of DNA replication, Nencki Institute, Poland

Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology in Warsaw, Poland (http://en.nencki.gov.pl/) is offering a position for a PhD student. The position is available the core imaging facility (http://konfokal.nencki.gov.pl/) of the Institute in collaboration with the University of Amsterdam, and position is funded for 3 years under EU Horizon 2020 program.

Successful candidate will join the group of dr Tytus Bernas to work on the dynamics and organization of DNA replication. The project will employ use a range of fluorescence and electron microscopy techniques to visualize cell nuclei and image processing to describe their architecture in quantitative manner.
