We have a vacancy for a Senior Microscopist in the Crick Advanced Light Microscopy Facility (CALM).
The core responsibility of the Senior Microscopist is to ensure that the microscopes are well maintained, and to train CALM users to set up and use the microscopes correctly. Additionally they will advise on the imaging of both living and fixed specimens, have the chance to develop protocols, and assist with interpretation of experimental data. Within the CALM Science and Technology Platform we to support imaging across a range of samples, from 2D to 3D cell culture models through to model organisms including zebrafish, fruit flies, and frog eggs
The position is for 3 years in the first instance. The bottom of the salary range is £33,500 / year with the final amount dependent on skills and experience.
