In order to provide all scientists with the proper tools and knowledge to avoid common pitfalls, to spot imaging fraud, and to prepare sound images to prevent it, we have organized this workshop together with the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics.

This workshop is dedicated to all researchers publishing image data who wish to do so in a lawful manner. It includes a presentation from a renowned journal editor, as well as multiple hands-on sessions. It will be held by the image analysis specialists Vibor Laketa and Holger Lorenz from the University of Heidelberg – known proponents of ethical imaging and experienced lecturers.

This workshop is open for technicians, PhD students, Postdocs, staff scientists, and group leaders who want to publish or present scientific data.

Prior knowledge in microscopy, scripting and image / data analysis is not required.

We would kindly ask you to spread the word within your institute / department / research group / facility. Feel free to advertise our events at any location, event  and audience you think might fit. You can find all information from this e-mail on our website https://miap.eu.
