About the ELMI

ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.

Light microscopy technician, Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen, Germany

We are looking for a Technical Assistant (TA) to support our team at the newly established Live-cell Imaging Facility at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen, Germany.

As part of our interdisciplinary and international team, you will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating and generally ensuring operation of microscopes and other biophysical instruments in the facility, including testing and optimizing new components and new assays such as staining protocols. You will also introduce users of the facility to operate these instruments, and you will provide them support in sample preparation and data acquisition.
