ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
Several well-known groups at the Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main intend to hire a group of excellent PhD students for a DFG-funded graduate school. iMOL will train PhD students in the theory and practice of advanced electron and light microscopy methods as well as innovative image analysis.
