ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
We are seeking a motivated technical assistant (w/m/d) to join the team of Infectious Diseases Imaging Platform (IDIP, www.idip-heidelberg.org) at the Center for Integrative Infectious Disease Research (CIID, https://ciid-heidelberg.de/), University Hospital Heidelberg, Germany. The successful candidate will support the high-end imaging infrastructure for infectious diseases research and advanced training in pathogen imaging. The technical assistant will be involved in the ongoing research projects that among others aim to develop improved SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic and drug screening assays. Work under enhanced biosafety containment level 2 and 3 (BSL-2 and 3) is planned.
