Position Summary
The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix (UA COM-P) is accepting applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor, research scholar track. We seek a highly accomplished investigator in the area of neuroimaging who will serve as the Director of the Biomedical Imaging Core and have the opportunity to conduct biomedical research.
The Department of Translational Neuroscience is currently being formed and a search is underway for its inaugural Chair. The formation of the Department is expected to advance the goals and objectives of the University of Arizona’s and the College’s strategic research priorities. The Department will be a key element in the College’s efforts to rapidly elevate its academic profile nationally and serve as the academic home for basic and translational research faculty. The primary focus of these faculty is advancing research and training in neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, with an emphasis on traumatic brain injury.
