ELMI was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment.
We are seeking a new Director of the Cambridge Advanced Imaging Centre (CAIC) and associated School of Biological Sciences Microscopy (SBS) network. With a base in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, the activities span Departments and Institutes across the School.
This strategically important position will manage, develop and inspire an established team that delivers both cutting-edge design of bespoke microscopy approaches and a network of support for more routine imaging techniques. Through wide-ranging collaboration with our world-leading scientists, the chosen candidate will have unique opportunities to develop a portfolio of research that contributes to our reputation as a large and productive global centre of biological sciences research.
