The successful candidate is expected to contribute scientific and technical expertise in optical microscopy, especially related to advanced imaging systems. He/she will support colleagues in executing microscopy tasks including data acquisition and analysis. He/she will also be responsible for the selection and support of microscopy hardware and software. The starting date of the position is October 2017 or a later agreed-upon date. The position will be initially for two years, but the possibility to transfer it into a permanent position exists. The candidate should have a PhD in a natural sciences discipline or a comparable qualification.
