Your Responsibilities:

• Define requirement specifications for innovative imaging products (software and hardware) in the area of materials science
• Provide product definition and product development according to the input received from
  our worldwide product management team
• Develop customer-focused software specifications
• Collect input from our customers and our sales organization in order to define the best imaging software for materials science and the industrial market
• Develop test plans and perform black box and integration tests
• Maintain a strong internal cooperation with our software and hardware development teams
• Use Olympus’ internal collaborative platform for software development (application lifecycle
  management tool)
• Write specification, test plan and product validation
• Participate in meetings and videoconferences
• Support the product management in completing successful product launches with creation of
  documents to be used by sales organization (product data sheet, product presentations, technical information, etc.) and by Olympus’ manufacturing division (delivery specifications and compliant documentation)
• Ensure proactive technology monitoring in the field of imaging software and market observation
